Aerial Innovations Southeast was hired to document the construction progress of the Music City Center – a 2.1 million square foot convention center located in downtown Nashville, TN. The construction team reached out to our photographers for a variety of services over the course of this four-year project.

The owner required the subcontractors to hire professional videographers to capture the HVAC, Electrical, Parking, AV, and other training classes taking place. The owner also asked that the videos include PDFs of all of the training documents with narration.

We only had a few days to prepare for the job, and the classes would take weeks to complete, but the Aerial Innovations team quickly arrived on-site, and scheduled backup videographers and engineers to ensure that no classes were missed.

Aerial Innovations had already been an integral part of capturing the Music City Center progress, so the subcontractors knew and trusted us, and turned to us for help.

The project concluded with us covering the many celebrations of the building’s inauguration, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and Mayorial dedication to the opening day public celebrations that included a performance by Sheryl Crow. It’s not often we get to be so involved with a project using all of our services and creativity. This was truly a once in a lifetime project for us and the city of Nashville.

the outcome

We were able to deliver 40 hours of edited, narrated, and chaptered DVDs to the owner and subcontractors on time.
